In Australia, cats are beloved pets, but feral cats are also one of the greatest threats to the country's unique native wildlife. According to conservationists, they have played a significant role in the extinction of dozens of native species since their introduction. The Australian Wildlife Conservancy (AWC) is now launching a new research program with scientists to better understand and reduce their impact.
