De Quantumtheorie werd 100 jaar geleden uitgebreid naar wat nu quantummechanica heet. Daarom is 2025 voor de Verenigde Naties het International Year of Quantum Science and Technology. Quantumcomputers zullen ons niet alleen nieuwe mogelijkheden bieden, maar zijn ook een bedreiging voor onze online veiligheid.
